Just a little background information about Sunday School Lesson Connection
Kevin, with his wife Rachel, live in the mountains of Colorado. Kevin is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He moved to Aspen in 1978. Rachel is from Miami Springs, Florida and moved to Aspen about the same time. We met at work and were best friends for years before we were married in 1982. Rachel came to Christ from the witness of a past employer, who continues to this day to be her spiritual mentor, our son's acting grandmother, and our daughter's namesake. Rachel's website: Friendship With Jesus Kevin was brought up in the Christian Reformed Church but did the prodigal son thing. Although he never returned home he did return to his faith after many years with renewed devotion. He has served on the elder boards of two churches and has been an Ambassador for Promise Keepers. But none of that has been as rewarding as working with youth. Kevin had a successful Junior High Sunday School class for many years at Church at Carbondale in Carbondale, Colorado. After that he filled in as the volunteer "youth dude" at Mid Valley Church for six months until a Youth Pastor was hired. He is currently teaching "Youth Church" for Grace Church. By day he runs a custom electronics installation company called Kevin's Connections. My wife and I also teach parenting classes (click here for info on that) because sometimes the best way to help kids is to help their parents.
